great location on the Esplanade at Tenby. Easy walk into the town and car parking close by. The Hotel had character which was a nice change from the sterile environments of the big hotel chains. Breakfast was good and staff all helpful. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and had views of the sea and castle walls.
The bathroom was very outdated and shower poor. Cramped for space in the bathroom and very poor lighting for makeup etc.
location good , breakfast good
this hotel is not a 4 star rateing
Location - right on the sea front - overlooking Caldey Island and the South Beach. Helpful and friendly staff. Only downside is no parking - having to use public car park atleast 500 yds away.
Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Helped me with luggages and showed me a couple of very good resturants. Location is very good, close to beach.
Small double bed. Shower water not strong. Poor sound-proof
Lovely room with sea/beach view, all facilities good, very clean, friendly staff.
Its location and convenience to Tenby. Very friendly staff and quick and efficient breakfast service.
Shame about the view from my room - but it was quiet.
Great location, right across the road from the beach.
Not enough room in the bedroom, felt very squashed and not enough space. also kettle was quite away from an electrical socket.
All of the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. A really genuine, family run B&B. The location was also unbeatable with steps down to the beach right outside your door. We also had no problem with on-street parking.
The decor is looking a bit tired but the rooms and other areas are all very clean and well maintained.
lovely location, we have a stunning early morning photo looking out to sea from our room. The staff, especially the lady who served breakfast, were very helpful and freindly.
parking is very limited, my wife would have liked more storage space in the bathroom, it would have been good if the jaccuzzi bath could have held two people.
The Staff are fantastic. The Sea Views are excellent The Breakfast is spot on. Location is perfect
There is a lack of parking all around Tenby.
nothing too much trouble here, everything for a relaxing break great breakfast too, the rooms and views over the sea amazing , staff friendly and welcoming
I liked the peacefulness, The fact that you are left alone. The bar downstairs was lovely and very friendly staff who kept our bags after we checked out so we could look around the town, Will be coming back!
The bed was slightly uncomfortable.
The Esplanade room was very nice with a very comforable four-poster bed & a beautiful sea view, the bath was a bit narrow for me & tv channels a bit restricted but the overall holiday was very good & the breakfasts were delicious & filling.
The only trouble with the Esplanade was the steep steps down to the beach, with arthritic knees it was very difficult, we ended up driving to Saudersfoot for easy access to a beach.
The location is excellent. Front rooms have beach and sea view, and Caldey Island can be seen on a fine day. Excellent freshly cooked-to- order breakfast. Very good staff. Hands-on proprietors.
The reception desk. Very dated and cluttered and not a good first impression. The ancient thread-bare carpet right through the hotel. The old, scuffed flush doors on the bedrooms. Dark breakfast room. Scatter cushions on beds had served too many heads without having been washed.
Excellent location, nice comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff.
All good for the stay we were looking for.
